Pros

Great company culture and service support. Great training program with a knack for getting it right the first time. I really learned from my managers and keys the correct way to serve a guest and make sure that they become repeat customers.

Cons

Unless you plan to become a key manager or managing partner, there is not much room to grow. Some of the rules are somewhat unreasonable but there is a need for them. This is also not a daytime job so you must like to work nights and sometimes not get off until midnight or later

Pros

For the most part scheduling was pretty flexible. As long as you asked off in advance you normally were granted the request. Being in a tourist heavy town as well as a college town meant the restaurant stayed pretty steadily busy throughout the year.

Cons

My only complaint would be not being allowed to ask off any holidays. That being said, management was always as accommodating as possible in deciding who worked certain holidays.
