Pros

Flexible dress code is about all.

Cons

Every other aspect of the job. You get 8hrs a week if you're lucky. Hours scheduled are based on sales, so I suggest not being good at shipment or merchandising because that will take up most of your time and then you will have no time to actually sell anyrhing and you wont be scheduled any more than one four hour shift a week, even tho you are a better worker and multi tasker han your co workers. Management uses you for b*tch work as long you are good at it. No compensation for all the sales you actually make, and for how much they stress it, you should be working for commission. Overall, I do not recommend this as a primary job unless you can get into the management. You'll get sh!t for hours and be treated like an invalid.

Pros

Great employee discount, loyal customers.

Cons

Too focused on profit margin to care about employees and customers. Clothing has gone out of style and is constantly trying to keep up with competitors like Maurices and Aerie. Several stores have closed in my area due to low sales.
