Pros
Helping parents, grandparents, etc. pick that perfect gift for a child they care for is very rewarding! Sometimes you get to help kids pick their own toys that they get with their birthday money or allowance - the look of excitement and satisfaction on their faces as they pay for it themselves is wonderful!!!
Cons
The company seems to not care about their employees. The raises are horrible - I was talking with an employee who had been with the company for 6 years and she was only making 65¢ more an hour than I was and I had only been there a year. She was amazing at her job and everyone loved her. She also was my supervisor. It made me very sad. They also kept her at part time so that they didn't have to provide the "perks" a full-time employee would receive. Even though they would not give her full-time hours (which forced her and most of the rest of us) to have to get a second job they required her (and us) to put this job ahead of our other jobs. We had to wait for them to make their schedule before we could tell our other jobs when we were available.
