Pros
- fun place to work and better than burger king lol - coworkers are mostly nice and dont mind helping out the seasonal associates -they don't ask you to stay late much, and you always get your scheduled lunches and breaks -the hiring process ( interview) was fun, and they hire people with little or no experience - they hire a diverse group of employees ( black, hispanic, etc) even though the area is mainly white - very flexible with scheduling, and easy to talk to hr about concerns, etc
Cons
- very little training, you watch someone for an hour or two and they let you jump right in as a cashier - management is iffy at best, the gm never smiles, and most of the other managers (besides the newest female manager) yell at you for asking for help ( such as when you tell them you need change) -lack of diversity in training- they kept me on cashier all the time while they let others go and do reshop - the clientele seems somewhat entitled ( did not like wainting in line five minutes even at a toy shop close to christmas?) and you have to be on constant alert for scamers at the register
