Pros

They invest in you immediately. They offer amazing incentives and events for the employees. The environment is nice, especially at the office.

Cons

You don’t work when it rains too much and your site isn’t working. So it can be hard financially to get hours when the rainy season comes. Base pay is a tad low for the type of work it is.

Pros

Pay is ok, there are a few fun and kind people, exposure to many construction sites and processes in the geotechnical business, learned how to write great reports

Cons

Unorganized systems, no proper training course, disorganized management, no communication from management, false sense of growth and success from corporate, no bonuses, slow days are very slow and you often have to lie on your time sheet, no professional development goals to work towards, over time is promised in the interview but then not offered, help with PE courses is promised and then not offered, schedule is subject to change at literally any moment (even before you wake up) and you're expected to be available 24/7, WEEKEND WORK, OVERNIGHT WORK sometimes have to travel 2.5hrs+ to sites
