Pros
Decent pay for what you do. And direct supervisors are generally good.
Cons
Department heads are highly educated but they lack the vision of "normal" folks. As they keep getting raises they sit higher in the ivory tower not caring about the common folk. And there never ending ability to mess up even the most simple of tasks is astonishing.
