They attract people to apply with this advertisement of a women just sitting in front a computer and it's NOTHING LIKE that!!! You have to spend several hours preparing yourself with complimentary material and practicing to give a class with a PPT presentation in an irreal time (they'll ditch you if you don't finish in ten minutes even when their class examples of the same presentation are way longer than that), and also they will ask you for a FULL SET in your home (if you just display a plain background as we see in their adds you are out)!! People without kids, will need to invest lots of money buying a Map, big letters, a giant board, big numbers, puppets, cards with cartoons, the perfect light system, the highest speed internet connection (work from everywhere? Not true!!!) etc, etc,etc, because their expectations are way higher than what they ask for at the beginning. If you aren't a licensed teacher with ISL, DON'T EVEN TRY. In my case I haven't have any of them, they told you that's a requirement AFTER you fill an application with all your personal information, and even when I hold back they give me a phone call, and they convinced me to do the interview saying that my bachelor's and master's degree where enough. That wasn't true.
As a highly educated professional, I have the feeling that the recruitment employees of Vipkid have "quote" of interviews, and they get paid for every person they drag to the interview, at the high expense of time and resources of the victims of their fake advertisement.
