Pros
Good amount of PTO Compressed schedule (3 day weekends) Easy job
Cons
Unfairness (some hires get more training and/or project opportunities than others that are hired at the same time) Plays favorites (you have to be social and outgoing in order to be liked by managers and move up the ladder) Biased/rigged metrics (some crews will not take breaks or overwork to have high numbers) Unwillingness to help/lack of team effort (everybody cares so much about their own performance and numbers that they are less likely to help new crews who are out from training) Moving out mentality (tenured crews always wants to promote externally or work for another department; making it hard for newer crews to have a positive view on the current role because all everybody is thinking is to move out; lack of internal growth) Managers play favorites (they may assign special training/projects to some crews and not others)
