Pros
Benefits - Unbelievable PTO allotted to you. Overtime - Great opportunity to make some more money. Stability - It takes a lot to get fired (see Cons). People - Met some of the most amazing people there. Work/Life Balance - Very accommodating to your needs.
Cons
Politics - If you want to get promoted it's all about who you know as opposed to your performance. I received Distinguished and a SPOT award but yet I see people who haven't produced 1/3 of what I did getting promoted. The best person doesn't always get the job and that's why you have people in roles they have no business being in. They know who they are going to give the promotion to before the process starts so no matter what you do to prepare it will not matter. You see people who were average at best in their current role getting promoted over top performers. Employees not being held accountable for their actions - You have people clearly dodging work any chance they get but yet they continue to have jobs. VADP - You have a number of people fresh out of college who haven't proven anything at that company but yet after a few months they are in leadership over people who have produced for years? Salary - The starting salary is low compared to most financial services organizations.
