Management favoritism is rampant* - work from home, rule breaking, etc are all monitored but ignored if you are favored.
Account coordinators and managers are a mix bag of literal maliciously incompetence or really good.
Everything is monitored and you can't do or go anywhere without micromanaging. The second you are on site someone in higher management is watching and likely looking at the time.
While many techs are decent or excellent, there are a good amount of bad techs and you will need to hand hold for upwards of 3 hours or more. Be prepared to also have to simultaneously answer management, PMs, PCs, and more for every minute past a certain point.
Some bad techs will verbally abuse you and you can't do much about it.
Don't bother trying to be friends with other departments. You will find it's all clique.
Don't expect recognition, you will never be rewarded for a good job and will infact likely be told to do more or work harder.
Do not expect a good raise. Even worse when unfavored.
Do not expect to go on lunch at the time you are given, nor expect to leave on time.
Outside of your immediate team, expect that you are going to have to solve issues with potentially solving issues you are neither equipped to deal with or paid fairly for figuring out/recognized for your hard work.
Expect to stay at your position. There is no guarantee of career progression. Progression requires management backing and can still backfire due to company hiring higher positions from outside rather than internal.
HR is non-existent and could even be looked at as hostile depending on how you see it.
Your work is never done, and must treat this like a glorified retail job. You must hit quotas that become more difficult to achieve as time progresses and when you are done, you are once more expected to do more than needed.
