Pam Petrow does as good of a job to manage the company as she can. Needs to know if issues within branch that goes unaddressed.

Cons

Manager aware of hostile work environment with bullying and harassment and allows it to happen. States he doesn’t know how to change it.Numerous employees have left as a result of 2 employees being allowed to “run” branch instead of manager running it.

They actually give a damn about there employees and you are not just a number to them. Provide you with whatever tool you need uniforms are professional all around great work environment. Pay is very good.

Cons

Have to wait 60 days to get health care. Thanks to the wonderful world of no vehicles they can’t get any company vehicles.

Their training program and operating systems need improvements. Their work environment can be stressful at times.

Our Compensation team does reviews of the market and jobs frequently to make sure we are keeping up with our peers and providing a competitive total rewards package to all of our team members. Be sure you are talking with you supervisor during your performance review to discuss your career advancement with us as there are many team members working at Vector Security who worked their way up in the company, which will help you advance your career/pay and hopefully relieve the work stress your are under. Toxic work environment. Zero chance of growth, poor pay, training is non existent(they have people who have worked there for 3 months training new people…..) Job security is good but only if you’re content with daily abuse and operating in mediocrity. It got so bad that more than 25 percent of their staff departed in 4 months. Covid is rapid they literally don’t enforce any of the rules THEY provided to protect employees. It’s consistently gone downhill for the 3 years I was present. Would strongly advise staying away. No money is worth seeing your co workers degraded. Management is clueless. They don’t understand the changes in the business and refuse to grow. They consistently use dated concepts. When they share that profits are increasing, it’s more so from the installation side. Hold times in customer service and tech support can be for hours, customer service consist of poorly paid and trained employees who can’t help the customer due to lack of knowledge and honestly a lack of desire. Managers literally do nothing. It got worst year after year. When 8 members of your team of 11 has less than a year experience, that lets you know there’s a problem.

Cons

Everyone is treated differently when it comes to pay. Managers are all “old school business” and don’t think outside of the box in terms of pay raise, recognizing accomplishments over failures, team-building exercises.
