Avoid this organization!!! - Director Vi Employee Review

The Executive Director at the La Jolla location is incompetent. Her communication skills are awful and does not contribute to team camaraderie. In fact, it’s the exact opposite in that she runs the departments like a high school clique. She is an awful communicator, takes little time to work with her staff, rarely responds to emails and seems to relish in creating personnel tension instead of trying to contribute to a high morale work environment. She along with HR management regularly fraternize with staff outside of work hours, which creates unnecessary tension among staff and management. It’s inappropriate to hang out with staff of managers you have authority over. I’ve never seen a company that is so focused on a random survey (which is coerced) over the viability of the company and the satisfaction of the residents. The behavior she’s exhibited towards staff is demeaning (i.e. crocheting during zoom conference calls, repeating hearsay as if it’s fact, etc).
