Pros
Viewpoint had been a progressive, positive company. Employees felt valued. A Manager's task was to foster growth and success from his/her direct report(s). The product was reliable and strong!
Cons
The bottom line now is make money fast so Viewpoint can be sold in a few years. Cut corners to increase upper management's take when sold. Make a quick fix to a problem because it will be someone else's issue soon enough. The workload and expectations of employees are completely intangible.
