Pros

The rest of your life, you will have a low point to compare against. No matter where you work or how bad it gets, you will be able to say "Well, it's still better than WBMI..."

Cons

I was unsure about writing a review as it felt like piling on, but after seeing the latest wave of obviously management-driven positive reviews to make it seem like it isn't so bad at WBMI, I changed my mind. I believe WBMI is probably a great company to work for if you are not in IT. If you are in IT, you absolutely do not want to work at WBMI. Do not let anyone fool you otherwise. It is flat out terrible. If you are a dictator who knows everything and can get into management, then by all means take the job. Or, if you like to be treated like a child and you like to brainlessly follow marching orders into hell, you might want to consider applying. For the rest of the review, I will compare being an IT Associate at WBMI to a fast food restaurant: 1. Quality of work is about the same, especially if you get to clean the bathrooms at the fast food restaurant. 2. You have about the same amount of pride in your employer. 3. Management gives about the same level of respect at either job. 4. Working in IT at WBMI has about the same impact on your health as eating fast food everyday. 5. Turnover is about the same. 6. Feedback is put into a box that no one will ever read. 7. Software development is a process as easy as making deep fried duck strips, fresh from a creek. Not that easy, you say? Sounds like you aren't a team player... 8. The Hamburglar has more ethics and common sense. 9. You are a faceless employee putting money into the pocket of a clown at the top.

Pros

Modern technology stack with opportunities to work on cloud systems, APIs, distributed architecture, and enterprise modernization efforts. There are smart engineers throughout the organization, and some teams genuinely care about delivering quality solutions. The technical challenges themselves can help accelerate growth in areas like Azure, React, system integration, and large-scale enterprise workflows.

Cons

The environment often felt highly results-driven without enough emphasis on communication clarity, collaboration, or healthy engineering alignment. Requirements and priorities shifted frequently while delivery pressure remained high. Many interactions across leadership and architecture boundaries felt transactional instead of collaborative, which could make engineers feel isolated rather than supported. Success often depended as much on navigating ambiguity and organizational dynamics as technical ability itself.
