Marathon was a great entry-level job for me and gained some very useful skills in 3 years. - Programmer/Analyst WorkWave Employee Review

Pros

They pay for your lunch and a decent company holiday party. Other than that, I don't have anything positive to say about them or their management.

Cons

There are no real incentives to keep you motivated and goal-oriented. The days are 8.5 hours and you only get 3-4 holidays days off, 3 sick days, and 2 weeks vacation. The starting salary and pay increases are not competitive. $35k starting salary as a full-time programmer is not close to what a programmer should be paid, especially for the amount of work Marathon asks of you.

Pros

WorkWave is truly one of the best work environments I’ve experienced. The company has strong momentum, a modern product vision, and a culture that makes you feel excited about where things are headed. What stands out most is the forward‑looking strategy, supportive teams, and leadership that communicates openly and invests in people. There’s real trust, autonomy, and a shared sense of ownership across the organization.

Cons

Truly none worth noting here.

Pros

The unlimited pto and remote work is the only thing that keeps people

Cons

Basically the entire leadership and manangement. 2 years ago they company went under a massive leadership shift and it was not for the better. Workwave used to have an amazing culture people actually enjoyed working there. Now your just another number that leadership doesnt care about. Your expected to work late and weekends at the result of poor planning by manangement, work load is way to much, and they are constantly layoffs. How many layoffs do they need before they reach their goal? everyones afraid for their job. Im convinced the positive reviews are from the leadership themselves to boost the ratings here. Not the place it once was and its a shame. The pay is very low too for the staff theyve had for years.
