Pros

# Benefits are acceptable. - The health insurance is not bad if you are a generally healthy person.  - Good PTO policy. - The office is nice with lake views. # Very nice people. - There are some very good-hearted employees here, despite the atrocious management. - Some employees shared their experiences on Glassdoor so you don’t need to learn it the hard way. # You get to make a real impact on customers and take risks. - You often have a big scope of challenging problems, and you can make an impact. - You can come up with your own ideas, and depending on the team they may be implemented. - The company is tolerant of your mistakes (and others’), for the good and the bad.

Cons

# Some leaders are ignorant and arrogant.  - They don’t listen to your opinions because they think they are smarter than you.  - If you point out loopholes in their thinking, they will just change the topic. - They make poor judgements, and you will handle the aftermath and still deliver results. - If you don't deliver, the leader thinks it’s your problem that you are not competent enough.  - The leader thinks their judgements are always right, even when their track record tells a different story.  - When things go wrong, they attribute the fault is on other people or on external factors, taking no responsibilities. - You can’t change their opinions. They don’t listen. (Just like they don’t listen to these Glassdoor reviews.) # Leaders don’t care about your personal lives. - They think working for long hours all the time is normal.  - If you worked overtime and over-delivered, the leadership will expect you to continue over-delivering. - Many employees in the company have experienced burnouts. Don’t be one of them. # They don’t care about your finances.  - No 401K matching.  - The year-end bonuses have been given in June or August in the next year. You can't budget around it. - They don’t tell you their salary bands, so you can get lowballed. - Don’t get deceived by the option value in your comp. The options are worth nothing unless the company IPOs or gets acquired.   # They don’t care about your career either.  - They tell you promotions only happen in the year-end cycle, but then people get promoted left and right throughout the year. - People managers became people managers without knowing how to manage people. They get promoted only because they are good at their individual contributor work. - Don’t trust their promises. Don’t. Ever.

Pros

Most of the colleagues are nice and talented.

Cons

1. Below-Market Compensation: Salary and overall benefits package are not competitive compared to industry standards. 2..Deficit in Leadership Quality: There is a noticeable lack of strategic vision, core leadership skills, and basic professional respect for employees from upper management. 3. Exploitative Management Tactics: Some managers deliberately target and hire candidates on visas (such as those requiring green card sponsorship) to leverage their immigration status, creating an environment of overwork and psychological pressure. 4. Unethical Reputation Management: Leadership desperately mandates employees to post fake positive reviews online to artificially boost the company's rating. This counterproductive approach only highlights management's insecurity and refusal to address the actual root causes of low morale.
