Pros
* You will have the opportunity to get hired here if you are a new grad, just because the compensation is so low and WLB is so bad that anyone who has a reasonable amount of experience won't choose to work here. * You do have some really talented and nice employees here.
Cons
* Management and leadership are literally telling people to write five-star reviews on glassdoor because the reviews and ratings are so bad, but real, so they can't find anyone to hire. Use your own judgment on those high rating reviews! Compare the length and content of the bad review to those of good ones! * Low compensation and unbelievably bad work-life balance. People are leaving and they are burnout. They don't respect what you accomplish and always request for more cause they don't care about your life. * People managers have no people managing skills at all! They are managers just because they used to be good ICs at Amazon. Hey, you see where the toxic culture comes from, don't you? Leadership is inexperienced. Honestly, look at their track record and past experience. How could they be so arrogant and not respect their employee's opinions at all? * Though you have good PTO, you will never have time to use it. Even if you used it, they will still try to contact you and ask you to get the job done when you are on vacation. Also, don't get fooled by the options, they are worth nothing. They are trying to give out an enormous amount of options to the new hires because they are not willing to give a reasonable base salary. However, they refuse to give current employees a refresh even when they are promoted. * NO career growth at all. They never provide any training and you will never find someone senior to guide you as they are all occupied by their work. Yourself is as well occupied by tedious and operational work, and never got the chance and time to explore new things. This is also because they can't get any reasonably new hires as their pay is way under the industry average, so all the current employees need to take more responsibilities on the backlogs. * Promotion cycle only happens once a month, and they always delay the review result. For 2021, the review results and annual bonuses are planned to come out in April but were postponed for two months, to June 2021. They promised to improve in 2022, but still, it got postponed! And if you get the top rating in your review, which is "exceed the expectation", you will get a 5% raise, less than the inflation, to your base salary. Well, I guess at least this is an improvement, as this is the first time they raised our salary.
