Pros
Get one week of sabbatical a month which is nice considering you're working 12 hour swing shift Pay is pretty decent but that's because of the union and not the company itself Have pretty high safety standards but that's only because of the amount of issues they've had in the past and continue to have
Cons
Management was very disorganized Dangerous environment (literal explosion happened within my first two months, not to mention carcinogenic chemicals are a daily part of the job) HR and Union have major beef so there's a lot of stupid company politics where the little guys get picked on Terrible training. I was supposed to be on shift training within my first week. It took 6 weeks for me to even get a trainer and he didn't want to train me and either slept on the job or complained about having to train me 24/7.
