Pros
I started halfway through the school year last year, and I can proudly say I don’t feel that way at all. At Zeta you have an amazing support system. From your co-teacher to our leadership, everyone is willing to help you through anything. Our students are amazing, we’re lucky that our parents love to be apart of the community we’ve created in the building and it really is just such a magical school. Not only are the walls painted in fun welcoming colors when you walk in, our classrooms are splatted with examples of what we do everyday, mixed with kids work, art work, projects and things we’re learning. Don’t get me wrong, we work hard and the kids word harder but we have fun doing it. Our curriculum goes beyond the standard, we as teachers and kids focus on social emotional development. We have weekly professional development and focus on curriculum based learning as well as just checking in with each other and staying connected. Everyone wants to make each other better and we’re open to giving and receiving feedback to each other to make that happen. Zeta is just a really wonderful place to start your teaching career or take your career even further.
Cons
Zeta was founded last year so the school is new, and because of that it’s had it’s fair share of growing pains. But our team is so strong and growing everyday!
