      Management allows employees the freedom to work independently with minimal oversight and management intervention, which allows the workforce to operate more efficiently and effectively while adding greater value to the government operations.

      Cons

      The benefit package is less than satisfactory as a result of the government competing the most recent support contract using a lowest price/technically acceptable acquisition strategy, resulting in the firm having to cut both salaries and benefits.

      Pros

      I got a paycheck, health insurance was okay but not great. Certification was paid-for but they have been tightening up their requirements so much so that applicants without current certs should really not bother. You get 1 month to acquire CompTIA Security+. Good luck with that.

      Cons

      NCI is a bottom-feeder. They undercut all other contracts and then deal with the financial disparity through their frugality with their employees. Expect micromanagement, freakish attention to timesheets, and being treated like children instead of professionals.
