Pros

If you want to be involved in a project, no one is stopping you. You make a difference for people daily, providing them high quality medication for a fraction of the cost. You get a start-up vibe with a lot of energy from all of the employees. The company is growing constantly and opening many different business avenues. More and more seniored business professionals are committing to their involvement with Empower Pharmacy. The Holiday party is a lot of fun. There is so much to learn from. The company never stops growing.

Cons

One needs to have apt to change and mobility here. This company strives on self-starters and people who can handle change as it is a growing company and still in its early developmental stage

Closed Sundays- Better than Retail Pharmacy

More time to talk to patients, no insurance to verify, lunch breaks, work with 15 other pharmacists, can learn compounding

Cons

Very busy, company continues to grow and always new people to train. Rotate Saturday work, usually work one per month.

Pros

Always busy, rapidly growing organization, great team work environment, everyone is friendly, learning new types of drugs outside of the retail and don't have to deal with insurance companies

Cons

busy environment-I put this only as a negative because not everyone can work at a fast pace and this is definitely a fast paced environment
