Pros

Working remotely is very nice to not have to commute All you have to in this position is take calls My team is great and so supportive and positive My manager is very personable and wants the best for me which is a great quality

Cons

There is not a lot of accountability so when someone tells wrong info to a caller then that blame falls on you in the next call You have to be used to being yelled at and most of the time being for mistakes made by other phone reps who give wrong info or mainly stemming from the processing side of things that just put wrong info on file There is mandatory Extra time that is required for basically the whole year There is barely any availability to take time off since the dept is very under staffed You only meet with your manager or your team maybe once every 2 months for 30 minutes The calls get so mundane and there is no variety in the work It is hard to progress in your position. Being remote is isolating and it feels like you are on your own a lot (which may be a pro for some people)
