Pros

EnSafe supports their employees with open door policy all the way up to CEO Don Bradford. Collaborative environment, employees share expertise. Employee owned. EnSafe commits to their employees and are not quick to make layoffs during slow times. Strong technology infrastructure supports work and data access from the field and home.

Cons

Sometimes it is difficult to get support to propose on complex RFPs if it is not extremely likely that we win the work. This is due to the time and resources that get dedicated to putting together quality proposals.

Pros

EnSafe has given me the opportunity to challenge myself and build a satisfying career within the environmental, health and safety, compliance services we offer to our clients. EnSafe has further gave me the tools, guidance, and opportunity to engage in the business development sector of the company. I have been with another consulting firm for eight years prior to EnSafe, but opportunities mentioned earlier were never offered to me there.

Pros

Tight knit group. Management cares about employees. Little micromanaging. Nice office complex.

Cons

Very little effort is made to create a seamless and easy way to find work within the company. You pretty much have to knock on office doors, send emails, beg, and wander around eavesdropping to find billable work if you are not in the "in crowd" which consists of long time EnSafers and GR2 technicians. It's understandable because people like to work with people they already know and trust.
