Pros

Immediate coworkers are amazing but it stops there

Cons

Management, including direct boss and everyone above her are incompetent and cannot do the role of rehab liaison. Anytime help is asked for, they ask another RL to help knowing they too are busy - the reason for this is because they simply do not know how to do the role. They have to be out in the field 4 days per week, which basically consists of my boss sitting there watching us work at our territories and micromanaging, which is unnecessary, given that she does not even know how to do the job herself. If you speak up for it, you are reprimanded. HR is of no use when expressing any legitimate concerns. Regional leadership is numbers-driven and only cares about the bottom line instead of about patient care - they pretend they live up to the mission, vision, and values, but that is just a mask. This might be the most toxic, mental health-damaging job I have ever taken in my entire career, and my entire team feels the same way. The one person on our team who spoke up about the issues and consistently led the team on admissions and referrals was ultimately terminated for exposing numerous wrongdoings by management. Administration talks down negatively to employees and are constantly demanding, degrading, and huge bullies. The insurance sucks. When you are terminated, the PTO you accrued you no longer get, and the insurance apparently ends the next day. Also, your retirement contributions are not vested until you are with the company for 3 years. For such a large company that claims they are so great, they sure do not know how to treat their own.

Pros

None at all. I dont have anything good to say about this company

Cons

This company is by far the worst company I have worked for in my 8 years working in healthcare. I am appalled by the level of negligence by the management team. We are severely understaffed, there's no line of communication, there is a clear division between RNTs and nurses. Nurses are never there when needed. RNTs basically do EVERYTHING and the nurses just sit there. They'll see you busy and they will tell you about a patient who needs water, something they can do. This job pays their employees extremely unfairly. I'll be honest and also say the patients also dont make it easier sometimes too. They can be rude as hell and expect for someone to be their personal servants. This job makes me sad because I love being a tech but every time I leave here, I wish it burns to the ground,
