Employee Christmas Party is really fun.

Cons

No employee loyalty. Don't expect to get promoted from within. Recently lost 2 very long term employees and another one (25+) years is leaving next month. What needs to happen before corporate takes notice. Don't bother going to HR because if you are not part of her (crew) you will go zero help. It would only take someone a couple of weeks undercover work to get a very rude awakening.

I was screamed at and belittled and when i reported it to HR i ended up being written up. I am the most experienced operator in my department and i new want nothing to do with it. If only i did not have such a strong work ethic i would not do any of my extra work

Decent pay and decent medical coverage

The more incompetent you are the more likely you are to get a promotion. People quit and are not replaced so all the lower jobs (techs, office staff) are overworked but there are 15 different managers above them sitting on their butts doing nothing. Communication doesn't exist, and other than safety training there isn't any sort of job training. Medical coverage is good but dental and mental health coverage are garbage. And the mental health coverage is needed after dealing with the insanity that happens there. Information on upcoming jobs is kept secret a lot of the time and that makes it impossible to have the correct things needed for the job.
