A lot of work needed

Pros

The managers do seem to be willing to do what it takes for the help desk team to do what they need to do. Also, employees are kind and give gratitude for the work done.

Cons

Managers do not work well together; this causes uncertainty and makes projects take a lot longer than needed. Everyone believes they're the most important user and never wants to follow the protocol for requesting help.

Cons

Nothing is documented. It's all tribal knowledge or the employee's personal documentation of the process. Training is stressful. No KPIs to set the bar.

Good pay and benefits. 12 hr shifts, 3-day weekend every other week, and two days off during the week if you work the weekend.

Cons

Poor leadership. Many safety issues. PPE is subpar. Many instances of workplace injuries and hostile work environment. Very high turnover rate.
