sick days are subtracted from your paid vocations time, unless you are sick 2 days in a row

Pros

I love the camaraderie and the fast pace of working in the hospital. I get to interact with a wide spectrum of licensed and non licensed professionals and enjoy being a part of the work flow. The hospital is newly remodeled and so its a great environment. Union representation, decent wages, and great benefits.

Cons

Sometimes management can be very intrusive and not in a good way. They have a tendency to stick their noses into everything and attempt to make changes that are not conducive to improving the work flow or morale. This is because they typically don't know what is happening on the unit but only hear the criticism. Not every job is perfect but i really enjoy working here. And despite the former criticism I do really like the management team.

Great teamwork, great supportive working environment. Plenty of opportunity to learn new skills.

Cons

It's in Chico, which is pretty much in the middle of no where.
