Pros

Nicest group of people. They are caring and friendly.

Cons

The hours are insane 7am- 6pm Monday-Friday, then my branch was closed on Sunday but I still had to work every other Saturday 9am-noon. This means only 6 days off a month?! Insane. This company makes ridiculous money and makes every employee work 48 hours a week minimum. Say good bye to your life outside of this company because you won’t have one. The money is decent but they accept any degree, so you went to school for - and now your doing anything to make a bottom dollar. I drank the koolaid, they painted a picture for me that I would well off, have plenty of money working here, all the people you work with become your closest friends. They sold me on this dream and when I got down to it, it just was not for me. It’s okay if this job isn’t for you, they want every ounce of you for less money than I make as a waitress and you have to be an MT for 8 months. 8 months of washing cars in your dress pants on a hot FL summer day. That is NOT what I went to college for. I did the time, I should never have to do something like that “while using my degree”. Oh and once your a branch manager, you sell the products that they have. For example the damage waiver and if the customer happens to get into an accident and use the coverage you sold them, it hurts your branch! So once your the manager that impacts your $$ so your doomed if you do or don’t in my opinion. This just isn’t meaningful work. It’s work that will happen with or without you. So I figured my life is worth more to me than making someone else’s dream come true. So don’t be worried, if it’s not for you, it’s not for you.

Pros

Decent Pay Team Leads are salary so they're available whenever you need them Call volume is getting better but is still usually atrocious Internal career site provides opportunities, but very few agents qualify

Cons

No sick days; don't fall ill Back to Back call pace; expect to talk for the entire shift with no rest Constant Changes to Policy; Relearn your job every six months Changes to Commission Rates; Unsteady pay Dishonest Management; Prepare to be lied to about anything until/unless it's announced in an email Designed to Fail; Most of the metrics are not designed for you to be successful, especially on shifts after customer service has closed so customers call you. Schedule Adherence specifically punishes you for things out of your control, and is the reason why at least one employee on my team every other month has lost their job since I got hired.

Pros

None. It’s been over a year since I’ve worked here and I still can’t find one good thing about this company. Everything about leadership, promotions, challenges, management; that can be learned in a less strenuous workplace! This job is only good for a person who doesn’t mind being overworked and underpaid.

Cons

Hours. Believe everything in the reviews about the amount of hours you work. They tell you up to 49, but it will easily turn into 60 per week! You will have no work/life balance, and most weeks you work 6 days per week or 7. You can forget about any time off, and be prepared to stay late on most nights. I hate to blast anything or anyone, but trust me when I say, Enterprise-Rent-Car is not worth your time or even worth considering. If you went to school, or recently graduated there are endless other opportunities than this one. And in no way do I not believe in hard work, but enterprise is more about working you for the pure satisfaction of the branch. The more you work, the less managers, and area managers have to step in to do. The company is set up like any other marketing/sales company. It’s a pyramid scheme and will leave you with nothing but long hours, and tired feet from standing most of the day.
