Good but not great

Pros

- Great co-workers -Good pay

Cons

- Extremely long hours that are most definitely unnecessary - you will get burnt out quickly - Awful customers that are entitled and have absolutely no patience - your promotability is sort of a scam. Rather than hard work paying off you can’t promote unless you have a high enough customer service score so basically you can be the best employee ever who is very hard working and if your customers write any bad reviews that can refrain you from being promoted - the system as a whole sets you up for failure. Overbooking reservations and not enough help - Most importantly get ready to live breath and die enterprise. There will be no such thing as a work life balance. 11-12 hour work days everyday and now weekend hours are even longer

Pros

The middle management is often great! The pay is extremely good (however, it's not actually 50,000 as advertised until after overtime). There is a strong feeling of camaraderie among the lower-level employees. The company does seem to stand for some amazing values, as long as they pertain to the outside world. Volunteer work is encouraged, and we even got a half day paid to do so.

Cons

The elephant in the room will always be that there are never enough cars. Customers are encouraged to make reservations for cars online, and inevitably, they will arrive and discover that the reservation is often just a suggestion. THIS IS A KNOWN DAILY ISSUE IN THE COMPANY AND WILL NEVER CHANGE AS LONG AS YOU WORK THERE. I want to make that very clear, this will be a daily battle. There are never enough vehicles and the lower-level employees are taught how to manage irritated customers, trade vehicles when they can with other dealerships, brush off customers who make same-day reservations, and even "steal" cars from other dealerships. This is a common and accepted practice for the company rather than fixing the problem (not letting people make a reservation if there is NO CAR). Customers do not understand why they have made a reservation, only to not have a car and honestly, I completely agree with them. It is a dishonest, confusing, and under-handed business practice. Upper management is a nightmare. There is so much "we are family" and "we care about you", however, we dreaded seeing them walk into the offices because they would cause major problems on purpose to see how we handled them. They will NEVER EVER have your back over the customer, so if you can handle always being the "bad guy" in customer interactions (even when you are following policy and rules perfectly) and being thrown under the bus if upper management thinks it will fix a customer's "bad experience" then absolutely go for it.

Pros

This review is directed at Enterprise Fleet Management in STL that are under Enterprise Holdings (Now Enterprise Mobility.) When I first started - I LOVED my job. Everyone was so open, accommodating, and so on. I've never ever had problems, and always loved my job in the last almost 5 years. up until I got a new supervisor, and when the company started to make changes/take things away such as our bonuses this year.

Cons

1. took away our bonus this year. 2. took away our ability to earn a .15 cents raise for each test you pass for certification effective as of 01.2024. 3. Not all trainings, videos, meetings, are accessible for those with disabilities. I failed not one but three tests for a certification because the videos were not closed captioned. I reported this issue to my supervisor each time - and he did nothing about it. I never get full notes on the meetings on top of it either - only "key notes". (I also want to clarify - my co-workers on the team is very supportive and tried their best to work with me unlike the management team.) 4. High turn over rate due to their new pay scale rate changes this year - you don't know what you get when there's a new change in the management. In this case, I got a terrible one. 5. they emphasized on flexibility - and don't get me wrong - the last couple of years, they were very flexible, but don't be fooled by that. Once they feel that it's a lot of work to work with you and your disability and decides that they want you to leave the company - they play dirty by not being flexible anymore but still shows flexibility to other team members on the team - making things more difficult for you. 6. if you get a document from your supervisor - make sure the document are the same as the HR's document that you get to sign. They made one small modification to the documents without informing me before signing it when they knew this needed to be reviewed with me to ensure that I understood due to my disability. When I reported this to the HR - they didn't care. they're not investigating into this situation, even confirmed that there is no recording of the zoom meetings so they could confirm that the management showed me the same correct document that the HR sent to me. so basically, they played dirty.
