Pros

The money is actually decent. Decent place to start

Cons

No work/life balance. Most employees do not have kids because of it and when someone new starts with kids they are absolutely terrible at accommodations (I had an employee quit as soon as he started from this). They force you to drive everywhere. I always drove about an hour. Required to go to airport if you want to be a branch manager (unless of course you’re someone’s favorite) which means working until 3am or going in at 3am all through the months, getting screamed at for lack of vehicles. Hurricane hit and they cut our pay because they take EVERYTHING out on your checks (missing vehicles, store damages, employee salaries etc). I do not recommend staying long at all. Lastly, I was sexually harassed by a man and they’ve promoted him twice since it happened. Reported to HR and they didn’t get back to me until months later where they claimed they “wrote him up”. This guy is a real predator and they did nothing because he was a favorite. The moral compass at enterprise is very twisted. (Yes, I had proof)

Pros

-You’ll find some good and trustworthy people. Everyone else will be questionable until the day you decide to seek better opportunities.

Cons

-Long Hours (50+ hrs/week) -No work life balance -Unless you want to eat, breathe, and sleep Enterprise then don’t even consider applying. -Frat mentality (if you’re not part of the boys or getting wine every night with the girlies then you basically will never promote or fit in) -Everyone is for themselves and the way they promote inclusive culture and diversity is a hoax. -You can’t ever trust anyone saying something without getting around. -The second you talk about being passionate about anything other than Enterprise or promoting then you’re basically going to be shamed and they’ll never promote you just in case you up and leave. -HR is not your friend. Neither is your very trusted and “well-respected” Area Manager.

Pros

* Sometimes they buy you pizza... that also means you're not getting a true lunch break that day * You get discounts on rental cars for you and your family * They'll hire just about anyone, so your odds of getting the job are high

Cons

* You rarely get a true lunch break * You will wash cars, a lot of them * You'll never get off work on time * Sometimes you'll bring home bed bugs from rental cars * They do not pay you for what you're worth *10-12 hour days are common * You'll work weekends * They do not value you or appreciate you. You're a clone. * Good luck moving up- if you don't brown nose, they will not promote you. * It's basically a giant Frat. Women are here for the numbers
