One of the best/worst experiences of my life.

Pros

Great pay, benefits, company culture. Encourages volunteerism. Great people, for the most part.

Cons

My department was in a state of flux from the day I started, with constant changes and reorganizing. ( I was moved to 8 different desks in 2+years). No continuity to my training, and was intimidated by my manager, and allowed to be harassed by a co-worker.

Pros

Very creative departments and many different options available on which to focus your career.

Cons

Most of the Film and TV work has left Ca. never to return again. Ca. is in so much unsustainable debt with its many social programs that have no sustainable base and the Producers know this, so they take the incentive packages from other states, leaving us to whats left...or requiring us to move.

Many very sharp, dedicated people. Employee-owned, with stock vesting in 6 years towards retirement income

Cons

Speaking just of IT, abusive management, confused and ever changing priorities, an unwillingness of executives to exercise governance, and continual threats to "write you up with HR" as a way to manage employees. I saw the high turnover resulting from these practices. In a company that provides information processing services, this is deadly
