Pros

I have worked here through the spin-off from Danaher and I’m very glad I stayed. Like Danaher, Envista continues to be a company filled with huge opportunity. Career development and personal growth is encouraged. Envista leadership has stated to me personally that they do not want anyone to feel pigeon-holed in their responsibilities and that all should be able to pursue their goals. Envista leadership has also stated that they want employees to feel free to be their “authentic self” at work and that Envista is to be a community built on trust. I feel that Envista has done a great job protecting their employees through COVID. I also feel that there has been a level of compassion that I have not received from any other employer. Overall, Envista is a great place to work if you want to contribute to a hard working team that will care about your welfare. I also dig the new vacation policy.

Cons

With big businesses comes complex processes and challenges. I would not recommend Envista for the close minded or to those who have little desire to grow. Students of learning will excel here.

Pros

Hybrid schedule for the time being

Cons

My experience with management at Envista has been challenging, as they seem to not value departmental concerns or feedback, which could have potentially led to improvements. Additionally, there appears to be a lack of knowledge within the middle management team, with some leaders relying on others who may be overwhelmed or partly responsible for the department’s struggles. The recent layoff notices across multiple departments, primarily due to the company's stock price drops, were particularly unsettling but unfortunately expected. In light of these layoff notices, seeking new opportunities is priorty, as I plan to move on as soon as possible. Overall, I have not found the work environment to be supportive or conducive to fostering a sense of pride in my role.
