Pros

- Compensate well - High caliber co-workers - Plenty of opportunities to get involved and take on responsibility - Meaningful work in healthcare

Cons

- Extremely limited remote work options - Policies often feel very petty or inflexible - for example if you have a job that you can work fully remote and get leg surgery (like an ACL repair) where you shouldn't walk around much, Epic will expect you to either still come into the office or take FMLA, they won't let you work remote for the full recovery period - Epic often staffs in a way that expects employees to be overextended and to have to put in extra hours (without overtime pay) in order to keep up with workload
