The Epic Way

Pros

Used to work at Epic, and didn't appreciate it enough at the time, but Epic really has their stuff figured out. As I've transitioned to SaaS startup world, things Epic has baked into their operations and down to a science (e.g. internal wiki, R&D operations, customer feedback ingestion, prioritization, etc.) are pervasive struggles and inefficiencies in the SaaS world. Thankful for my learnings and lessons during my time at Epic

Cons

Other side of the coin is that Epic only does things the Epic way. Can get away with it given the dominance in the industry, but felt that there could be helpful external perspectives from time to time.
