Pros

None that I can think of to be honest.

Cons

-pay is laughable for the metrics and numbers you have to hit to not get fired -commission structure isn’t great for seasoned recruiters who are used to placing quality over quantity candidates -they prey on recent grads because they know they’re the only ones willing to work for an organization that micromanages so much and pays so little -your every move is tracked. Phone calls, length of phone calls, etc. -every Friday HR is calling multiple people to let them go for no reason. Literally a “we can do what we want” mentality and no further explanation. No warnings and they want you gone at the end of day with no notice -benefits are expensive for how large the company is -No maternity leave -don’t expect to get guidance from management or team leads because you won’t get any -you’re expendable and they treat you like it

Maternity leave is available under FMLA, a standard practice in Consulting and in the roles supporting a Staffing company. The leadership team is integral to the performance of the company and to improve our success formula. Epitec is employee-focused, client-driven, and process-oriented. These 3 aspects are all important to delivering talent to our customers. Epitec hires experienced recruiters and new graduates. If you are an experienced recruiter and\or you have any concerns with the Epitec culture or pay-for-performance compensation programs, please email me directly mjruma@epitec.com. I'd be happy to speak with you further.

Don't Work Here

Pros

Work From Home Some of the people are great to work with When you are in the office you have a lot of coffee and snacks

Cons

Horrible Pay Feeling that you are always going to be fired. People would just be gone come Fridays and if you ever had a random call from HR on a Friday morning, it would be your last. Not a lot of training after initial orentation. Management doesn't connect with newer people. If you are one of their favorites and make it past a certain period, you are golden. Mess with pay scales quite frequently Too many more to discuss. Stay away if you can. There are so many more recruiting companies out there that can offer you more security and training.

Pros

The employees there are fairly nice. They respond quickly via phone call or email.

Cons

This company is very disorganized. They seem to still be establishing their rules (work travel was paid for then suddenly wasn't). They don't have their employees best interest but rather the clients best interests. So good luck having them advocate for you with anything, such as a raise. People are constantly getting either getting fired or leaving Epitec so once you establish a working relationship with someone who has your file, they tell you that person left and now you have a new rep and you have to start all over again building that work relationship up again. In one year my main point of contact at Epitec changed every 2-3 months. It was ridiculous. Things were lost in between all those changes with my file, they eventually recovered it but the instability is unnerving. I have worked with many agencies in the past and this has been the worst in my 11 years.
