Pros

"Unlimited vacation," some managers will require that you document your time off and that in reality, you can only take off 2 weeks/year. This is illegal, so its not an actual restriction, but you can gather the atmosphere.

Cons

Disorganized and decaying team structures due to high turnover. Work is very silo'd causing a lot of misunderstandings, wasted time & frustration. No mentorship encouragement whatsoever. Employees are instructed to manage themselves. Workloads cause several employees to work 60+ hours/week. Bleeding talent. No training at all, people literally joke about how long it takes to understand the job(an entire year) which in reality is very easy and unnecessarily causes a lot of burnout and tension, mgmt see's this as an employee problem that the employees should solve on their own. Rudeness is rampant and leadership is incredibly bullyish at times. Perks and benefits have done nothing but decrease.

Nice people, terrible structure

Pros

Everyone is really nice and generally a good person. Fun summer and holiday parties (pre-COVID) Bagels on Fridays Good time off policy

Cons

Team leads don't place enough trust in younger team members in leadership meetings Not a lot of space for career growth and no focus on growth in general MAJOR misogyny issues - it's almost as if the females don't speak up and let male members of team run the show Younger people with fresh talent are overworked and underpaid, while senior members are paid much more and do entry-level projects

Profits over people

Recommend

Pros

There are genuinely nice people at Epsilon. People who care about their work and for each other. But they are few and far between.

Cons

Executives put profit over people every step of the way. It's an incredibly toxic culture from the top down. Many leadership team members were not ethical and had multiple lawsuits pending against them. Other leaders were so concerned with their own positions they sacrificed high performing employees to maintain their narrative. Incredibly disheartening as the offerings were solid.
