Stable company, low personnel turn over. High quality products, vertically integrated.

Cons

New hires are mandated to take their very limited number of Vacation days during the company christmas shutdown. You can only have agency about when to have a 2 weeks vacation after 5 years in the company.

For example, we do offer three weeks of vacation for new hires. We love all of our employees, from our new hires all the way to our long tenured employees who all contribute to the company's success.

A chill job most of the time. Compared to Amazon at least. But not the best place. Favoritism and unethical behavior galore and it will prevent you from finding career progression at Epson.

Cons

Things just aren’t that great. If you want a place to stay in the same position for years and never have any ambition it may be an okay fit. Job security : medium Career progression : low Management seems to pick out favorites often based on non work related employee traits. These favorites are then given opportunity and raises above the rest regardless if they perform the best.

No chance for advancement, all upper management jobs are hired outside the company. Yearly layoffs, no warning, of the people who have been there longer, then they hire someone else at a lower salary.
