51% positive business outlook
Pros
The company is growing and consistently promotes individuals who display the core values the company was founded on. Integrity, service to the customer (both internal and external), a strong work ethic, and a desire to think outside of the box in order to problem solve and move the company forward. The patient and the client is first in the decision that are being made and leadership is consistently challenging not only the team, but themselves as to how to exceed expectations at every level. With that challenge comes growing pains that while uncomfortable, are necessary for any business.
Cons
As is the nature with any company, business growth, changes in the industry, changes in leadership, as well as changes in the world all cause a company to shift and change. Sometimes during these changes employees cannot adapt and therefore no longer find the company attractive nor can they successfully thrive. This happens in every business and in every industry. Unfortunately, individuals outside of the company can't see a lot of that to understand what's happening (a con) and like any feedback process, 90% of feedback will be negative and only shared by those who were unhappy with the changes (a con).
Pros
This is an innovative and progressive company. Equiscript has a unique business model that produces a revenue stream that feeds directly back into the communities that we serve. The better we can care for our patients, the more opportunity we have to give back. This is the first company that I've worked with where core value are actually articulated and used as a key motivator and management tool.
Cons
This is new territory we are plowing. We are constantly forming and reforming our processes to offer a better patient experience. But, it comes with the territory when you are innovative and pioneering company.
Pros
This is a great company to work for. They have a wonderful "open door" policy that allows a flow of communication from representative up through the C-suite. This company has that family feeling. EquiScript is a company of their mission. We work hard each day to ensure our patients and clients receive the best possible care. EquiScript is a company that hold true to it's Core Values. EquiScript also offers a lot of benefits such as health care, dental, open PTO, flex time, and bonuses. This company truly values their employees and loves to celebrate all of our hard work. It has been a pleasure to learn and continue to grow with EquiScript.
Cons
There are no down sides to working for Equiscript.

Pros
Remote Work, Great Coworkers, Generous PTO
Cons
Equiscript was originally a great company. Everyone who made the company great has left or has been laid off. I know CEO Michael Burkhold has pure intentions at heart, and I believe he is being misled by others and is steering away from the company’s core values. Due to cuts in the 340B prescription drug program, Equiscript had a mass layoff in 2020. We were ensured that this would prevent anything similar from happening in the near future. This year there was another mass layoff, and the employees that were affected were terminated immediately without any prior warning. They were booted from all systems immediately. There were demotions for the employees who did get to stay. There is so much uncertainty in this company and over time there is less and less transparency in what’s going on in the company. I did believe in this company’s mission, and I do believe that it’s for a good cause, but the company is on a steady decline and the employees have suffered because of the company’s latest and current approach to solving the “issues” at hand. I don’t know the direction Equiscript will go in the near future. But they should start with changing their attitude towards employees. It has gone from great to very poor in a very short amount of time. Equiscript will eventually lose their best employees if they haven’t already. This company will crumble in due time and has completely lost sight of the mission. I believe Michael needs to take back charge and stop letting other people dictate the future of his company. I truly believe that other individuals in leadership are tarnishing the Equiscript name, which Michael has worked so hard to build. It hurts to write this review, seeing where the company was headed to where the company is now going.
