Pros

Education, great workshops for group fitness instructors.

Cons

Favoritism: once you are no longer the "hot item" they are very quick to push you out of the schedule. Our particular fitness manager is a very "yes sir" kind who won't stand up for you even if you are a great instructor/ trainer Salary is low Schedules get changed every month pretty much so it is hard to keep 5 classes a week to maintain benefits. .." Your numbers were not great this month"... Attendance is cyclic in the suburbs. Members get told one thing to justify kicking an instructor out if the schedule while the reality is way far from that version... "He/She is no longer available", and then members see you coming to work out at that same hour

Pros

Work in a beautiful gym with your own office. Beautiful people everywhere.

Cons

A lot of politics involved in the sales division. You will learn what making over 100 phone calls per day feels like.
