Pros

- Junior people are really nice, smart and diligent - You can advance your SAS skill - Acquire Stock Based Compensation knowledge - Know how to work under pressure and develop client communication skills

Cons

- Bad management team - this company has disorganized management system and never respects your existing. Some seniors will frequently give associates extra ad-hoc requests though it should not on their plates - Really high turn over rate - Terrible working hours ( the majority of people) during month/quarter-end - The handoff process quality is not stable. Some people are good coders, not good trainers - The executives don’t care about expanding the business scope

Pros

Second-to-none clients to work with (Fortune 100 and beyond) Smartest (and helpful) colleagues you will ever meet Internal promotion focus (tons of advancement opportunity if you are good) Use of technology to automate and avoid the billable hours trap Constant push for innovation and trying out new things Seniors want you to be successful Excellent compensation (especially for high performers)

Cons

If you don't love client service (flexibility, responsiveness) this will drive you nuts Need to be comfortable being uncomfortable - the work is hard and the path is not always clear (that's why we are hired) Excited to be returning to the office (miss the mentoring and collegial feel from pre-covid) Need to wear many different hats, especially as you progress (pro for ambitious people, con for others)

Good starting company, avoid if experienced

Pros

-Great working environment with a lot of freedom and flexibility -Co-workers are genuine and incredibly smart -Great experience earner

Cons

-Senior Management who no longer work on processes seem to not understand that complexity and work load have increased per client exponentially from when they worked on these clients. Meaning they ask far more from associates than anyone's work capacity could reasonably allow. -Associates are given frankly poor training by disinterested managers/consultants who would rather be working on their own clients than teaching associates. -Mentors and managers often have no clue how the associates they are supervising are doing. Leading to performance adjustments to associates often coming far too late. -Pay is bad for the amount and complexity of work (60+ hour work weeks with incredibly demanding clients). At the consultant level this gets worse as the high attrition of associates forces consultants to do associate work on top of more advanced consultant work.
