A workplace to call home

Pros

Happy and supportive teams plus approachable upper management. Lots of growth opportunities, open communication, available coaching/training, and clear roles and expectations. EQR is truly a unique and inviting culture.

Cons

Each year comes with change. Most things implemented are promising however some can be proclaimed as more efficient ...for example the CRM software ...but just feel like more work with no better outcome than before.

We are so flattered by your 5 star rating - thank you! As you mentioned, we have centralized positions in a few respects: our Equity Customer Service Center (ECSC) and through our podded communities. ECSC has recently created remote opportunities to support some company wide, centralized initiatives, however these positions were created in addition to existing roles, essentially growing our Equity team. In terms of our podded communities, we very rarely eliminate positions as a result of the merging of these pods, however use the opportunity to simply restructure existing titles to better support business needs. We always want to hear from our employees, especially if there are any questions regarding new concepts or rollouts, and provide platforms like the weekly Huddle, (market specific) VP bi-weekly calls, ERNIE, and surveys to solicit feedback.
