      Pros

      Equity Residential has a very strong benefits package outside of the tech industry. They are mindful of the work/life balance of their employees. At the same time, there are reachable high expectations. They expect the best of best from the property management industry. The company provides opportunity for growth within the company. Employees are provided accessible information (data-driven company & industry) and tools to do their jobs well.

      Cons

      Some teams can fall short-staffed and therefore have a lean staff for the work when it gets busy. The industry is always going through its cycle of peak & valleys.

      Great place to learn and grow for driven employees

      Pros

      Think like an owner here and you can grow any position you desire. EQR values education, drive, hard work and their employees. The pride and heritage the company was built on is still present today. Great culture.

      Cons

      The company has consolidated recently giving an impression to tenured employees there is a lack of opportunity for growth but this is only a short term. Growth and opportunity will continue but only the coastal markets we are now located.
