This was a disappointing experience as there is huge potential for positive change and little management buy in.

Pros

Compensation was good, Company has a good market presence, Company is in a position to make a strong evolution into new computing environments and strategies

Cons

A lot of long term employees at management positions who are "home grown" into those titles and they are not open to outside influence on operational or IT changes needed to progress the organization forward

Pros

I got a lot of experience working with customers and solving problems. I learned a lot about manufacturing and dealing with a big company.

Cons

While I was there the company changed its focus from local production and customer service to centralizing those functions. It improved efficiencies but lost the local feel for the customers.
