Pros

An office full of great people, a real 'pitch-in' attitude, big on teamwork, ability to work remote as needed (comes in handy when the T is down most of the winter), employees are treated as adults in regards to work hours Product has been improved, customers are getting on similar platforms, which makes support much easier. Product is better than the industry leader(s).

Cons

Don't expect to maintain a life outside of work, even 45 hours isn't that much, many folks were often behind and would go over the allowed hours, so they would finish their work for free and not put the extra hours on their timesheet. It is a running joke about leaving spouses and significant others waiting for you at restaurants often. Hours can cause real stress for your homelife and many folks have a dedicated work from home day, otherwise they wouldn't be able to do things like laundry. I'm not kidding. Communication internally with developers can be hostile and unhelpful in getting things done - there can be a lot of unprofessional discourse within tickets. Training only covers so much, you're left to search through documentation to find answers and that's truly how you learn. No real perspective from how real users use the product. Access to necessary tools to perform your job can often be hard to come by, slowing down processes and wasting client time. They boast the free snacks (ordered every two weeks, usually gone the day after they are stocked), pool table and ping pong (no one has the time to use them), and beer fridge (only thing that gets used, because everyone is stressed out). These are bare minimum tech company treats, there is little else done to create a fun atmosphere. The cube farm setup was a big letdown when company expanded to new space. Unlimited vacation - you'll be far too busy to use it. It is not uncommon to see people answering emails and working on vacation or cutting their vacations short because the teams are understaffed. Finding folks to appropriately cover for your absence is difficult. Too many personnel and management changes in a short period of time.
