Pros

They’ll hire anyone fresh out of college.

Cons

Limited training before being labeled as a “specialist”. The office was strict like a prison: I’d get messages/phone calls questioning why I put my phone on hold longer than 3 minutes to use the restroom. Sometimes I’d return from lunch to see the same messages because my manager constantly forgot when my scheduled lunch time was. My vacation days were denied even though I cleared them during the interview process. I was outright betrayed the one and only say that I was 8 minutes late. Low pay, zero benefits.

Pros

Good place to work and a company that genuinely cares about its employees. Good benefits and decent pay.

Cons

Pay is not up to par with other companies based off the amount of job duties. The job title of property claims adjuster can be a very daunting and dangerous position and the pay does not reflect it. You rarely hear from the happy customers but always from the angry ones. Today’s society feels as if insurance it out to get them. It can be very stressful on your mental health so be prepared. Some agents are clueless as to the application of policy or what they are selling and as an adjuster you are to apply the policy and will hear if the customer is unhappy. This is not a nation wide company opportunities are limited. Keep that in mind. I’ve worked for other insurance carriers and the opportunities their were endless.
