Pros

Low stress environment, reasonable hours, realistic expectations.

Cons

No opportunity for growth or advancement, low/no professional respect, top-down managed, permission-driven culture, limited opportunity for creative expression or new ideas. Compensation not competitive.

Pros

If you're into GIS, Esri is the company to work for. Great benefits if you're looking for (job) security and/or have a family.

Cons

Average Talent. Average Salaries. Tends to be more of a Geographic Research Institute than a software company.

Pros

- Excellent benefits - Nice campus environment - Good for someone just starting out or for a first professional job - Good workforce diversity (lots of people from lots of different countries) - Prides itself on a flat organizational structure

Cons

- Must be white male for management - Must be part of "bowling league" for special treatment - Poor communication between management and workforce (at least in Professional Services) - Expects employees to train themselves on their own time for work related projects
