This person worked at ESI for less than 2 months. At that time it appeared that things were not going to work out. Sometimes this happens we were very straightforward and direct about why we thought it would not work but the bottom line was that it was not a very good fit. All companies including ours do our best to try to determine fit from the beginning but we knew after a short period of time that this person would be better suited working for someone else. As for the $400 mentioned above. We did agree to pay 4 months' worth of his portion of the Healthcare as long as he was an employee in good standing which he was not at the time. By the way nothing Shady about our benefits program. Even though we had in writing that this would not be covered and this person agreed to that we decided in good faith to make the payment on behalf of the former employee.

While it is unfortunate that sometimes companies and employees part on less than desirable terms, we try to have open an honest discussion with all personnel in the organization though sometimes sensitive information cannot be discussed. We would like to provide some facts as a response to the above post. 1. Over the past 6 years Estech (and much of the telecom industry) has been transitioning our products to work in the cloud as well as on premises. Change and transitions like this are not easy and can create stress but the evolution of a company is pivotal to its long term success. To set the record straight many people have received raises and promotions based on merit and work ethic. We try to reward all employees that are working hard and contributing to the success of the organization. 2. While we will not address specific personnel issues, I can tell you that at any time when poor behavior is brought to management’s attention we have acted immediately and taken the proper steps to terminate employees and support those that may have been affected by any poor behavior. We can unequivocally state that the above statements made by this employee are not true. We take pride in our diverse work force and welcome applications from all qualified individuals.
