      Pros

      It's a pretty good company to work for. Very solid, and very easily survived recent economic hardship. The people are helpful, and have a generally good attitude about everything.

      Cons

      A lot of technical decisions get made without involving the users of those decisions. Many times a software package was purchased that IT was supposed to implement, yet IT was not involved in the decision to purchase said product at all. Also, don't expect promotions. Estes would rather hire temporary consultants to get the job done rather than allow their own employees to flourish and grow.

      Good family benefits, competitive pay for drivers, busy terminal with lots of work, not too much micromanaging, extra earning potential if you want to work weekends

      Cons

      Equipment mostly older except for top drivers, no scale and too many overweight issues with loads, training can be less than thorough, high turnover with lower management
