Pros

I got my job at Etactics immediately after college, so far it's been a great experience. Right out of the gate they give you responsibility, which can be a turn off to some but if you look at it as a challenge then you will thrive. Many of the coworkers are around the same age between their early 20s-30s so there isn't much of a "generational gap" and the majority of the workforce is on the same page regarding the direction of the company. Since it's a tech company there is no dress code, the benefits for 401k and end-year bonuses are awesome. There are also frequent company events, free luncheons, boardgame tournaments, and "unofficial" company events where the entire workforce gets together after work and goes to Cleveland sporting events.

Cons

Sometimes it can take some serious convincing to the upper-management on new ideas but if you are passionate about your idea they are more willing to listen to what you have to say.

Pros

Most of the employees are pretty cool. The company hosts several events a year for the employees. Benefits are pretty good.

Cons

First, management is very old , they love to micromanage and their expectations change regularly or they can’t remember things they’ve discussed with you. Their “entry level”sales position requires a Bachelors Degree but they offer little to no training while expecting you to work 60+ hours and they keep commissions that should be yours all for 35k, if you’re lucky. This company is also very stodgy and doesn’t like change, it’s strange for a software company to lack flexibility. Also, the employees are very cliquey. Finally, nepotism is very popular so to say there is no chance of advancement would be an understatement.

They're a joke

Pros

Easy to build close relationships since the company has been the same size the last few years.

Cons

They don't want to reinvest in the business. Management only looks out for themselves. Doesn't want to change.
