In an effort to ensure the long-term success of our employees, we have amped up both employee and management development by investing in internal resources like our Pathways Programming – helping employees to understand performance expectations, progression opportunities, and the development resources available to them – as well as additional tooling and professional development budgets. We’ve also received great feedback about our Focus Days and Breaksgivings, which allow employees to recharge, as well as mental wellbeing offerings such as the Mental Health Days you mentioned. We are optimistic that these steps will address the concerns you’ve raised here, and we have already seen progress in this regard. However, we’re concerned to hear your comments about toxic stress and situations. This is not something we find acceptable, and Management and HR are trained and available to support any employee who feels that Etsy’s standards of kind and respectful communication may not have been upheld.
